On Sunday, October 16, 2022, STEM Connects hosted its first ever event: a panel discussion focused on engineering that featured three accomplished speakers. STEM Connects founder Julia Bae served as the moderator for the event, and panelists Ruya Barrett, Alexandra Gorham, and Martha Murray spoke about their STEM journeys, answered audience questions, and shared inspiring advice. Furthermore, the event had over seventy registrants across three continents, and many attendees expressed their new insights after the panel.
